Software Architect - Medical Devices (m/f/d)

Deine Aufgaben
As our Software Architect, you will be the expert for state of the art medical software architecture. You will define the "How" of our software products and you will be the person in charge of leading the practice and introducing the overall technical vision alongside our experienced developers for our product lines.  
 
  • You align software solution architecture with concerned parties (Product Managers, Development Teams) 
  • You drive and guide the specification and implementation of the software architecture
  • You document the technical requirements and specifications for integrations and medical aspects of our products 
  • You design application interfaces according to healthcare standards or vendor-provided formats used to pass healthcare data   
  • You analyze industry and market trends to identify the impact on system software architecture 
  • You participate and play a vital role in risk assessment meetings according to regulatory and quality requirements
  • You take responsibility for architectural governance incl. survey and analysis of architectural metrics
  • You think differently to combine your wide IT experience with our automation knowledge into disruptive products that blow our customers away
Anforderungen
  • Min. 5 years of experience from working as a solution- or system-level architect, based on an experience from software development to better understand the needs of a software developer.
  • Basic understanding of the development process for medical software in the EU or USA (e.g.: ISO13485, IEC EN 62304) or the willingness to learn those in a short time
  • Basic understanding of agile software development methods 
  • Software or Engineering background  
  • Experience with Requirements Engineering and Risk Management 
  • Excellent communication skills  
  • Fluency in English  
  • Knowledge of medical data exchange and storage standards (e.g.: FHIR, DICOM) would be an additional benefit
